Yes, it's random. Yes, a Chicago Sports News Flash is not involved (sorry!). But hey, saluting the Lovable Losers (Cubs), the Jordan-Led Bulls, and the Monsters of the Midway (Bears) is never, ever a bad idea. Saluting the defending Stanley Cup Champions (Blackhawks) who've won 2 Cups in 4 years (and are on their quest for back to back championships, making that 3 Cups won in 5 years) is never a bad idea. Saluting the Sexy South Siders (sorry White Sox... you don't have a cool nickname like the rest of the guys, so I had to make a nickname up for you guys. Don't you like it?) isn't a bad idea.
These teams make up an unbelievable sports city. Forget that. These teams make up the best city in the world. And I want to thank them. Check out this very nice article paying tribute to Chicago Sports, the best sports city in the U.S.
